Esta revisión expone la reabsorción radicular inflamatoria que se produce durante un tratamiento de ortodoncia como un efecto relacionado a la respuesta biológica de los tejidos que permiten el movimiento dentario; así como las consideraciones clínicas que se deben tener antes, durante y después del tratamiento ortodóncico.

This review outlines the inflammatory root resorption that occurs during an orthodontic treatment as an effect related to the biological response of tissues to allow tooth movement as well as clinical considerations that must be taken before, during and after orthodontic treatment.
